Tranieu12--Weasel of the NW

Post  Guest on Fri Jan 30, 2009 5:07 pm

This guy is seriously getting on our collective nerves. I would like to see a coordinated effort to either take him out or bring him in to the alliance. What say you?

Agreed. I would like to see him croplocked and then farmed until he deletes. Calculating the needs for catapults, we need a minimum of 330 to hit. Also, a strong couple of clearing waves will need to him as well. From experience, we sent 230 imperians at him and had 50 trapped and 180 killed. We believe he is multi accounting but cannot prove this. He does have Roman reinforcements when we've hit.

From the tally that I have seen, we've lost (aside from 1000s of rez from his raids), hundreds of troops, 5 settlers and 2 banned members (accidentally went over the hours push limit). I also will speculate that the timing of his attacks puts him in SE Asia's timezone.

I've also attempted IGM contact. He's read the message but has never replied (it's been over 2 weeks as of this posting). An invite was in the message.

Right now, I only have 5 catapults to offer. I can make more as deliveries from my first village and raids come in today. I have a little over 200 axe and clubs for clearing as I have lost 250 to him....This may need to wait for a couple of days or even a week.

Key here is to coordinate all members. Do not go at it alone. When we are well ready to go, we set a strike time well out for all to participate. Remember that our teutons move the slowest and that the attacks will be coming from all over the NW.

If you delete a IGM it comes up as being read, so maybe not

Exactly, we need to get the time of the slowest person and coordinate around him or her.

Great work Dootzkie. I was going to ask why no one had scouted him.

I agree with killjill. He is too far and our offensive powers are too small for an attack yet. He hasn't settled a second village (and with level 3 residence is some way off from doing so) and is smaller in size than many of our players (but big enough that with that Roman reinforcement he would be a real pain to take out). I think at this stage, it would be much better than those who are being raided build crannies and walls and trappers (though no traps until you're ready to spring) and get ready for co-ordinated defensive operations. If he is a Gaul, then his raiding TTs are *expensive* and can easily be taken out by some well-timed and placed phalanx and/or spears and/or legs, which are all *cheap*. You can do *much* more damage that way. Even if this is not taking him out, it is slowing him down, and making him think twice before raiding a FUN village, which are great and easily achieved objectives at this stage. The key is team work. Don't have 5 spears taking a stand here and 8 phalanx there, but to co-ordinate in one place on one day and in another place on another day. You will also need scouts to stop him scouting ahead once he realises that you are co-ordinating.

How large are his attacks?
