Re: FUN - A Living Legacy
FUN has changed. It is really interesting to have 80+ people, from different parts of the world, trying to work with a common goal. While our backgrounds, cultures and personalities may clash, but we still have to work as a team. FUN as an alliance has matured in many ways. Maturity also brings decisions that some of us may or may not agree upon. Our course in FUN on this sever, and the next S6 (so on and so on) will continue to mature for the better with lessons learned.

Re: FUN - A Living Legacy
To Me, FUN was unique, and best when it was simply a group of friends who wanted to have fun in travian and to learn. When wanting to win was of quite far down on our agenda and where you could speak up about almost anything without having someone shoot you down through paranoia accusation of power-lust or other rebellion based crimes. To me, FUN's greatest power was in it's casual-ness and how we let each member run free and live their own style of travian, so long as they followed some uniform teamwork. There was no such thing as cropper allocation, if you found a goldmine, go ahead and take it. It was a time where the leading members had nothing other than charisma, and the voluntary choice of others to follow them.

Was?
FUN is still all of those things. It's a great alliance, who wants to play the game fairly, and gives it's members equal say in discussions, should that member choose to participate.

I think we lost some freedom that we once possessed and held dearly to us.

I feel a social debate coming.....
Complete freedom in these types of games usually mean disorganization, disorganization usually means a quick exit from the server.

Thanks for support, Rowsey.
You see, our friend Simmy here, is invidious's loyal pet monkey, and he absolutely adores questioning everything I or Dootzkie do. But the results are right here.

Someone's getting quite personal about a subject half the alliance doesn't know about.
