I've noticed a few players using this strategy. Any tips on countering it? I'm just giving away experience and losing resources (unless I raid more than I lose).

Well, with a hero alone theres really not that much you can do.

My hero was lvl 2 with 10 points on defense and a roman wall lvl 10.

P.S. The only reason that happened is because i wasnt there...

How much did it cost you to revive him? Seems like it might have been worth it to kill 20 clubs. And what a great disincentive to raid in future if he knows it will cost him 20 more (or waste the time of a much larger force).

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed. What do you mean the only reason it happened? You had more defensive troops off doing something else? It seems like quite an effective tactic to me.

the only downside is that if your hero dies, you have to pay in resources about 10xs more than what the person who attacked you has to.
