If we hit back, whether a raid or an attack,.... it gives our members a sense of purpose - a big morale boost that we are doing somehing about it. MNU attacks aren't just raids. I've counted 3 croplocked villages so far. By not doing anything, we are telling MNU it is ok to hit us. While there is OPS underway within the next few days, Main will be no more by the time "IT" happens.

By telling main to stand down only makes us (leadership) look incompetent. We can only give our members so much excuses before we have a riot on our hands. By allowing a strike on a (single) target, it gives our members to chance to coordinate an attack (good practice) and it will show MNU that we can put together a coordinated attack.

The cavalry are CWL coming in a week or two. Keep that in mind. But do not tell others. That is why we are trying to keep our heads down. We want MNU to become totally engrossed in seeing all the incoming attacks from another quadrant and realise this is big news so that they forget us. We don't want them so pissed at us that they try to take us down with them.

Yes. Is it that hard to see? I dont want them to defend against our attacks i want them to defend against CWL. I dont want to have incoming attacks i want them to attack CWL. If we provoke them by attacking them than say goodbye to non-SH villages.

For now the only thing we can do is organizing deff OP's thus reducing the amount of threat from MNU.

People, since there is no nice way of saying that and since I'm the one who never sugares things:

We are not in a war with MNU. They are attacking our weakest, least active, and smallest members to convert them into farms. There was attack on one village only in Flank, and it had no catas.
So, my point is:
If you retaliate, you will provoke them and enter an official war. I am never going to suicide any Flanker's army just because a demoralized member of another wing wants war. No Flanker is demoralized, only Main people are demoralized because of non-existing leadership, and void officers.
If you want to work on moral of your members, feel free to suicide them all. I think that survival is prior to moral, and that it's damn high time for all non-Flank leaders to control their members.

Two arguments against that theory:

1. Lite is not being attacked, and that is where our smallest and weakest members reside at present.

2. I wouldn't call Incubuss421 a "weakest, least active and smallest" member. Nor would I say that TankGirl or Nematode are inexperienced, weak, smallest, or inactive.

And are you honestly telling us that if Flank villages were getting destroyed - leave your troop counts out of it for a second because we all know that your wing is almighty and powerful and all other wings suck because this is a hypothetical situation - your members would be OK with being told by you to not retaliate, with no reason given, and let themselves be wiped out just because you said without voicing a word of complaint? You don't think you'd have a riot on your hands under those conditions?

Flank has member under attacks and no1 makes a fuss about it. No1 wants bloodthirsty Vendetta because of it. What makes me wonder is why didnt FUN Main organize a deff for its own members ?

Kind of hard to organize a defense when the attack comes from within one's 7x7, non-SH village. The magnitude of their attacks is great. If we had only one attack, I doubt the outcry would be as such. 8 members so far have been hit. We kicked 3 slackers right before the attacks and 2 more have left/deleted. We finally have an inbound on a SH village that we can defend. We have time to defend this one. The problem for all to see, is little or no reaction to MNU's action. Again, I can only reassure my wing so many times.

I'm not pretending to the fact that CWL is coming. I am concerned that the FUN organization will be down a wing by the time it happens. Something to take into account... every time I get an IGM from MNU, they have no clue as to the wings of Flank and Lite,... they only know FUN. I believe that is why Lite and Flank hasn't seen attacks yet.

It is indeed hard to defend against a close neighbour. No need for accusations about this since unfortunately, there is little that can be done about this. This may be the point at which some starting villages are lost. That is not a whole wing (no need for overstatement here either).

This IGM was not from a small or inactive player, and none of the player names that I x'ed out are small and inactive. They all have high troop counts and have been very active in ops across all three wings.

Does anyone have a reasonable and useful suggestion on how this should be dealt with given the circumstances that will not result in a revolt within the alliance or a flaming nasty post on the forum directed towards the leadership as a whole? I don't think telling this individual to hang on and wait is going to work for very long.

And then tell him that if he is still wanting to take on MNU, then he'd better go and do some more maths study.

Also, if he won't give his troop count in troop counter and won't do what his leaders tell him and trust that they know what they are talking about then he can leave.

Also, that if his friend had managed to communicate with the leadership before his village was attacked, then something might have been organised, but when you are attacked from within your 7x7 there is basically nothing you can do. This is why we left our starting villages behind and fully expected to lose them.

Also, that if he really wants a leadership position, then he should spend more time working on his communication skills (did he really say that he is in college?) and less time playing Travian.

I guess this is a non issue now since I see he has been welcomed into Flank with open arms.

He asked me to come into Flank. He is very depressed and he has 8 m8s. We better calm him down with the invite instead of letting him become even more depressed. His loyalty could be shaken as well as his 8 m8s's.

If people are having trouble with morale or with wanting to get MNU back, then show them some of the reports of recent battles in Pillar (1200 crop killed) or Incubus (2400 crop killed). We are hurting them. But we are doing it the smart way, not the suicidal way.
