Hello,

This is Shenezade, I'm the manager for the NW TL wing, I'm writing this presenting our Alliance and try to negotiate a deal.

TL stands for TorrentLeech.org, the top private tracker for torrenting in the world and recently we decided to mass join Travian, many FUN members are also members of our community. At the time we have 9 wings and the waiting list is just staggering. We did the mistake of not setting a quadrant, so we have 500 members spread around the board, we'll rectify this next round.

Recently some wings have reached embassy level 20 and we're now in the process to purge inactive members.

So lets go down to business. We're very much into Travian and we're being pounded to the ground one member at a time by FUN Lite, and there's not much we can do even if we were experienced players, we simply joined this server too late.

I'd like to NAP with you guys as I believe we have something good to offer. Numbers, there's a shit load of us and by the time this server ends many of us will have become very good at this game and on the next server we could all benefit from this and perhaps even confed.

What do you guys think?
FUN Lite is picking us one at a time, and they will succeed and we will perish, but we will reroll and put it together again in the next server. Or we could create a NAP now and work together and learn from you and in the next server really make a difference with you as friends.

We certainly can't beat you so we want to join you, not for cowardice but because even as enemies you've shown us respect and replied to us telling us what we're doing wrong etc... I respect that a lot and would also like to be a part of it.

This is my first and last attempt to NAP with you guys, if you decline I won't bother you again.

Wow. They are huge, but do we want to train someone who may turn around and stab us in the back later in the game? Just a thought. Might be a good thing. Might be a bad thing. I think negotiations are in order.

they are spread out over the map like a giant ring so their affectiveness as a alliance is questionable at best. The thing to consider is this alliance may be full of internet junkies, and time plays a huge factor in travian. There may be a few good players in the mix but the majority are just granny junkies.

Maybe their intel handles misinformation too.

I dont think there is a chance in hell at survival for them, maybe only a handfull of them will get by but eventually die or join another alliance. Because they are registering in masses I think next server they are going to be a big pain in the ass. As Rowsey said, can they be trusted, thats the million dollar question. Do we take the chance or do we search and destroy and deal with them come next server? On an ending note...GO LITE...WHAT WHAT

I personally think a NAP would be stupid. They would take our farms and might bite us back when they get smarter. The only way this would work is if we took control of their NW alliances to ensure they won't bite us back.

I vote we continue to clear them out of the SH. The plan has always been and should always be, FUN only in our SH. the only other players alowed are farms.

When the time comes for the next server, we can just find out what quad they are in and not go there. But that being said, 1000 bad players doesnt match 60 good ones

Flank will, almost definitely, continue to purge them out. That message was one of their desperate moves...

It depends how long term we want our diplomacy plans to be. He is really offering something for next server in exchange for this server. He is remarkably self-aware about TL's strengths and weaknesses. I would at the very least like some further negotiation in order to learn more about them and their structures. How are the various wings arranged? What is their leadership structure? Is this guy head of all [TL] or just one wing? Do they really have a policy of kicking members from their TL site if they don't remain loyal in Travian? So many questions. Perhaps we could negotiate a deal in which we are still allowed to clear/farm all [TL] members within the SH? Just a thought.

I'll tell you what i think. I know that 100 members in endgame could feed WW village better than 60 good members. Good members have troops , sucky ones dont so they have lot of crop. With TL deleted only 3 wings of FUN will remain in the SH with no potential recruits.

We can always put them to the test and if they backstab us , which i dont see how they can , we will chief their villages and farm them. Ever wondered what 160 000 160 000 160 000 160 000 loot looks like ? We can tell them to purge the ones that give away loot and keep only good ones. We can tell them to make a new wing in which they will put their best players. Also we can forbid them to take any cropper that is located in the SH, or at least make a boundary (example - any cropper who is within 40 radius of (-90/210) is FUN's and is forbidden for TL ).

There was alliance on s7 that recruited a lot of people who were sending crop to the WW. I mean huuuuuge number of people feeding the WW. When you have minus several million crop you dont really care who is sending crop. I say they make a selection of good ones, in NW only, and we stop attacking them. The rest will be kicked and farmed. I wouldnt like to see NAP with 150 + ranked alliance. Also they would be named TL only , without branches and other crap , so we can recognize them easily.

In a perfect world [for FUN] my idea would be possible.

Here it goes.

We should get along with TL but only with the NW wings.
We should get along with TL but keep them in a helot like position.
We should get along with TL but they shouldn't be allowed to get croppers in the SH.
We should get along with TL if they accept to settler around the SH to make a buffer zone. They should be the butt cheeks to our SH anus.

They should accept these terms or perish from the NW.

From purging we wont get nothing except the catapult practice and minor resources [in the long run] from farming.

Feudalism is nice when you are on top!

I like Cursez's suggestion. It suggestion acknowledges that we are currently in a position to make demands like this, but also it tries to make a good outcome that doesn't mean we will be cata'ing TL players for the next few months.
