FUN's stance in a possible alliance with NWM, and NAP with MNU

Three cheers for Cursez and the smooth organisation of this defensive operation!

This is getting old. Everytime I look at the attacks page, there are attacks from people we have NAP's with. This needs to stop. It seems as the NAP is being used to farm us and so we won't attack them because we actually honor pacts we make.

I agree with you incubus...I still think we get a big defensive drive going, break all naps and kick some MNU ass! Let them know who FUN is or we play the same game they are and play stupid when approached being asked why the hell did we attack them when we have a NAP. Enough is Enough!!!

I was getting ready to send to someone that attacked a LITE member this morning, but thought better of it until I figured out what was going on. I agree with incubus, this is getting old.

I hope this post gives you the picture whether we should trust NwM leaders or not (click on the pic when you link to it, just so you could see the size of letters in that post from the NwM forums, and hense, the importance they give to us):

They obviously knew what they are doing. Also, I don't 100% agree with the MM saying "the long and short of it is that it's very difficult for us to argue the case of our NAP when we are all being very profitable for the raiders." The only reason they can do this is because there is that security knowing we have a NAP with them. Therefore, they should not have attacked us in the first place to find that they can get lots of resources.

If everyone got their marketplace up and constantly shipped them off with resources from main village to their SH, village, this shouldn't be a problem. As long as the cats don't hit the city and resources are kept to a min in the main village, then they would just look like idiots.

In response to VAO's last post, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt right now, but if it continues, I will not just sit here and take it, as I'm sure a lot of our alliance is feeling. Together, we could be great allies if they decide to finally honor their pacts.

You know what would be really interesting? I'd like to see what happens when a couple of our members start farming them and sending scouts. My guess is they flip and make a huge deal about it instantly.

More than likely that will happen....
Their ally is a mess the leaders are having a hard time arranging confeds and NAPs.
Might as well ready up some defense cause things might get ugly.

Nice - would have been even better before most of the troops were sent home. Oh well...

Crop, people, crop! If you send reinforcements, you need to keep sending crop regularly. If you sent 150 crop worth of defence, that's 750 crop every 5 hours (or 500 every 3h 20m or 1000 every 6h 40m, depending on your merchant).

I am sarah-here and I was the diplomat with MNU at the time you guys were talking naps/confeds.
I was talking to VAO last night on Skype and was very upset when he told me he was seriously thinking about quitting the game. So I went on and on and on at him to tell me why. When he finally did tell me the reason, I once again push him into letting me read some of your posts. He made me a temporary member of your forums. This took a lot of trust on his part, but believe me his trust is well placed, my feelings about the FUN alliance are known already to a few of you.
I think you do not appreciate the work that VAO and Cursez but into getting you all naps with both MNU and NwM.
No other leader from FUN, or FUN LITE bothered to contact me in anyway, which I found very odd indeed. In fact if not for the efforts of VAO there would have been no naps for any FUN wing apart from FUN*F. It was purely down to his work that MNU napped with you other guys.
No one from FUN which I assumed to be the main wing, made any attempt to talk, Superyee did at least attempt to make contact for LITE but very much after the event.
So in my opinion you should all be very glad to have someone like VAO on your team, making an effort for the whole of your alliance, as he seems to be the only person able to communicate with other alliances on your behalf. He alone has made me respect and admire the FUN name, and I really believe that if you sort yourselves out a little bit, you could be the strongest smaller alliance on this server. You remind me of the MNU I loved on the last S6.
So instead of arguing amongst yourselves, get your team ready for taking a WW, with VAO’s help I think you could do it. If you do I pledge my tiny little alliances help in making you winners.
