Farewell and a public apology

Hello all. It's been about 72 hours since everything went. First and foremost, I am apologising to the whole of FUN, each and every member. In a short while, I will be returning access to the members of Flank, the leaders of FUN (although I know there is another forum being built), and full access shortly thereafter. My actions were twofold.

First - an attempt to stave off MNU from hitting FUN main. Knowing that (so we thought) Nikani was to be with us soon, I decided to move FUN main, FUN Lite, and part of FUN*F into Nikani to shield it from MNU. The unfortunate consequence allowed Nikani to prepare and backstab us and allowed MNU to pull up their attacks. As we couldn't go into details because of a time constraint, we sent the word out as fast as we could.

Second - To me this was quite personal. I had the ability to cause anguish to the leaders of FUN*F and FUN Lite for 72 hours, compared to not being heard for most of the server. By taking away their voice in the forums, they have a taste of how I felt. I can't speak for VioletV, but this action was my idea. I have been chatting with several of the leaders and BGS is you most level headed leader. Listen to him well.

Also in a short while, I will ask what is left of the FUN members in Nikani that if they are willing to rejoin the FUN ranks to go ahead and do so. While I expect most to come back, there will be some who might stay. Either way, I ask that you respect their decision. If they do come back, please do not treat them any different than FUNsters who have stayed.

As for me, I've been told to move or be cate'd. Well, I intend to stay my position, but not necessarily with Nikani. I have time to think about things and I wish all of the FUN leaders would do the same. What has happened last server has happened this server, only more drastic. I will remain on the forum until I return moderator/admin access to those in charge, to read comments (but not answer them). After that, I will delete my account from FUN. Also note, I have not moved or deleted anything from the forums. No information including troop counts were ever divulged to Nikani or MNU. There were 2 accounts deleted prior to me hijacking the forum. Rowsey was reinstated and Incubuss421 was deleted a second time.

I knew you for only a short time, but I grew to trust you. I am appalled at this posting. In it, you admit that this move was done for totally selfish reasons. Your selfishness has caused many of the FUNsters you wished to protect to no longer enjoy this game.

Shame on you. Shame.

Please don't delete you account. Simply go inactive so that we can chief them with minimal loss.

That is the *least* you can do.

That, and hang you head in shame for your selfish acts.

Kaitlyn has said everything that is on my heart, so I will simply add my sincere apologies to his and agree with everything he has written.

I am just so glad that all the people have seen through your lies, and that FUN is back on track. This forum will never be used again, as we decided: we want a symbolic fresh start. I wish nothing bad for you, your failure is enough, I guess.
The least you can do is stay and give your resources to us. And stay a bit more to see what will be with the NW. As always, I'm confident, and fear for a village of mine won't ever cloud my reason.

I am also glad that you no longer have any voice in this alliance, and that true and active leaders are here. This will pretty much fix things in FUN alliance, as we will no longer have to pull that heavy deadweight that was caused by the lack of leadership skills and lack of dedication by rkw and VioletV.
It was one of my worst mistakes to badmouth wings other than Flank, and it was my mistake not to recognise that Main and Lite players were litterally drawn to the mud by their poor leaders. Now, there are new leaders - EAM and V-la, that have always shown activity and justice.
Good luck FUN! I can't wait for this new war to lift our spirits!

What i find most sad about this whole situation is, as i thought it was due to personal reasons. From my point of view your lack of vioce was due only to yourself and your lack of using that voice. Both VV and kait were very absent from alot of discussion, often only commenting with the response of "send me igm if you wish to talk"

This is an alliance, not a dictatorship, if we have issues we discuss them. I think your biggest failing that you should take with you and think about if you wish to participate as a leader in another server is that you should communicate more openly with those whom you lead. being travian and a war game there are things that can not always be explain in a public forum, but many of the issues brought up here about recruitment, growth, activity were all shut down by "send me a IGM".

This was highlighted when your defect turn into one giant WTF cos your own members had no idea what you were doing.

I am very happy in the long run this has happened, we got rid of some dead weight who should not return, and if they do the leaders can kick me for farming them. We also got rid of some dead weight leaders whos own agenda and self importance made them look above those whom they lead.
